U Aung Gyi

U Aung Gyi is Advisor of Business Alliance Hub, an innovative business development firm whose mission is to provide expertise and resources to foreign investors in Myanmar. He is retired senior military officer and also retired Deputy Director General from Ministry of Livestock, Fisheries and Rural Development, who has many experiences in Administration and Management.
U Aung Gyi is not only the retired senior military officer but also the Veterinary Surgeon. He is executive member of Myanmar Veterinary Council since 1998. He was also elected as General Secretary of Myanmar Veterinary Association, two terms 2004-2006 and 2007-2009. He also elected and appointed as President of Myanmar Veterinary Association in 2010-2012 term. During his term, Myanmar Veterinary Association won the “ Veterinary Day Award 2011 ”, selected by World Veterinary Association and World Animal Health Organization.
U Aung Gyi attended 77th General Session of World Animal Health Organization at Paris and he also attended seminars, workshops and conferences at Itlay, New Zeland, South Africa, China, India, South Korea, Indonesia, Phillipine, Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand. He read the scientific paper about “ Highly Pathogenic Avian Influrenza Outbreak in Myanmar ” at the conference of 30th Conference of Federation of Asian Veterinary Association, Cebu, Phillipine, 2012.
U Aung Gyi also appointed as National Project Coordinator of “ Small Scale Dairy Technology Transfer and Training Project, FAO TCP Project on 2004-2006. He also appointed as National Consultant of Animal Infectious Diseases and Public Health Project on 2007. Minister of Ministry of Livestock and Fisheries also assigned him the special duty for the establishment of livestock breeding Zone.
U Aung Gyi received the “ Sarpay Beik Man Sarpay Award ” on 1972 by his combined short novels. He was also awarded the “ Outstanding Award for the Social Welfare ” on 2008 and “ Outstanding Award for the social Management ” on 2009 by the Government of the Union of Myanmar. He also received the “ Outstanding Award for Civilian Service ” on 2010.
U Aung Gyi is writing some articles at Daily newspapers, journal and magazine, especially about the livestock breeding, prevention and control of animal diseases. He already published five technical books for livestock breeders and farmers.
After his retirement, U Aung Gyi gives some Technical and administrative advices to the private company for the success of their future.
